Andrew Jennings, MBA

President & Founder  

 

Andrew founded Prepare Benefits in 2013 as a benefits engagement firm with the purpose of providing superior quality education and technology services.

Kim Gracy

Kim leads the Implementation team, which includes both operations and technology, to provide exceptional service to current and future clients. Kim’s expertise comes from her 10+ years working for a national carrier.

Amber Orr

Director of Customer Support

Before working for Prepare Benefits, Amber worked with Prepare Benefits. She was working as an HR manager for a large automotive dealership. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Amber immediately became a valuable asset to the Prepare Benefits Implementation team. 

When Amber is not working, you can find her reading a new book or binge-watching Netflix.      

Athena Silver

Director of Operations

Athena is one of the main points of contact for Prepare Benefits technology support. Before joining our team, she worked with a voluntary benefits carrier for 12 years. Athena has extensive experience with the best enrollment platforms and can train HR managers on how to get the most out of them.

Athena unwinds by reading and enjoys traveling anytime she can.

Nanette Arneson

Customer Support Specialist

Nanette has 35+ years of experience working in the insurance industry, working within the Account Management, Benefits Administration, and Customer Service departments. She gained her skills working for both a benefits broker and a large insurance carrier. Her wisdom and expertise help take our implementation team to the next level.

Nanette is active and enjoys being outdoors fishing, as well as attending gym classes. She and her husband have two children and one spoiled German Shepherd.

Rosa Velasquez

Operations Manager

Rosa has over 15 years of experience in enrollment and is licensed in all 50 states. She has had the opportunity to travel throughout the US as an onsite counselor and team lead and has kept friendships across the industry. Before joining the Prepare Benefits family, Rosa worked as an implementation manager and trainer for one of the largest enrollment firms.

Rosa was born and raised in Los Angeles but moved to Nashville 16 years ago, where she lives with her boyfriend. She loves hosting board game nights, trying new coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants.

Kimberly Burleson

Call Center Manager

Kimberly has over 25 years of management experience specializing in the employee benefits industry. Her background includes call center director, corporate training, quality assurance, and technology implementation.

In her spare time, Kimberly volunteers as a photographer at a local animal rescue dedicated to raising awareness for senior and disabled dogs.

Judi Carrillo

Customer Support Specialist

Judi has nine years working in the insurance industry and joined our Prepare Benefits team In September of 2021. She values her experience in learning new skills and achieving goals.

Judi resides in Tennessee with her husband, two children and their cat and dog. She and her family love to be outdoors and have recently taken on fishing as their new family hobby. Photography is another passion that Judi developed during the pandemic.

Michelle Pettus

Customer Service Support Specialist

Michelle joined Prepare Benefits with almost ten years of experience in HR and Payroll. Her expertise includes working on HR modules for Inova Payroll. She has also worked as an HR Specialist and Payroll Specialist.

Michelle lives in Tennessee and is a proud parent to three children. She loves her friends and family, all things Disney, amusement parks, traveling, and trivia. She also loves music and has auditioned for American Idol and The Voice!

Irene Aguilar-Aguila

Benefits Administration Analyst

Irene has been in her field for more than six years. Her experience includes working as an account manager and client analyst, auditing and assisting clients with concerns, and utilizing Employee Navigator and other software systems on their behalf.

Irene resides in Eastern Tennessee with her two dogs, Lucy and Roo. She has an adult daughter that is the love of her life, and is close with other family located throughout Europe, Mexico, and the US. Irene enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, working out, traveling, paddle boarding, and spending time with friends.

Alyssa Pierce

Account Executive

Alyssa has over 20 years in insurance, benefits, and human resources, ranging across a wide variety of industries both public and private and frequently partnered with Prepare Benefits to find client solutions prior to joining the team directly.

In addition to a degree in Science and Education, she is licensed in all lines of insurance and has a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Now that Alyssa’s two amazing children are all grown up, she spends her time traveling as much as possible. In between trips, you can find her at the occasional trivia night, spending time with her family, or trying a new local restaurant.

Maureen Mcilrath

Renewal Manager

Maureen has worked for over 30 years in human resources, insurance, management, and benefits education. Her experience in all aspects of core HR functions and insurance has helped her serve multiple companies, municipalities, hospitals, K-12 schools, and universities in various management roles.

Maureen is originally from Michigan and currently lives in Florida. She is a mother of two and enjoys history, swimming, golfing, and traveling in her free time.

Michael Molaka, MBA

Director of Administration

For most of his professional career, Michael served in upper-level management roles, including as Chief Operations Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and a Branch Manager for two different Florida Credit Unions. At Prepare Benefits, Michael’s responsibilities include risk management, operations, strategy, and finance. His background and experience bring structure, efficient process, and high-level strategy to his daily role.

Outside of the office, Michael’s passions are his faith, wife, four children, and Florida Gators football.
